Water Resource Management embraces a wide range of projects undertaken to help our clients achieve their objectives.
A typical example is a Flood Risk Assessment, which is often required in support of Planning Applications. These assessments may range from a short report, such as that required for the Code for Sustainable Homes, through to lengthy reports based upon detailed flood modelling.
The output of model-based investigations also interfaces with water resource planning and addressing issues such as the yield or the optimal operation of a water resource system.
A sound understanding of the hydrology of a system is often crucial to understanding the system as a whole. Our staff are able to advise on this and provide inputs directly, or as part of a wider project team. We have worked in partnership with many organisations to help deliver multi-disciplinary projects. These include low flow investigations and complex planning applications where we have worked successfully with other partners. Hydro-Logic is a founding member of the "Working Together" Consortium (http://www.corylus-ltd.co.uk/our-partners.html).
