Models are widely used in Hydro-Logic in support of client projects.
Hydrological models are used for deriving flow inputs for models and include event based models as well as continuous models such as the RRMT system.
1D and 2D hydraulic models such as ISIS and TuFLOW are used in support of flood investigations as well as for deriving stage-discharge relationships.
Water resource modelling is based around the use of the LOWFLOWS2000 system and Aquator. This is a generalised water resource modelling system, developed by OSS and sold and supported by Hydro-Logic. In this role, we also provide training and run User Group meetings.
Through a programme of Continuous Professional Development, we ensure that our staff receive appropriate training in model use. Furthermore, our involvement with R&D projects means that our staff can provide valuable feedback to model developers through informal feedback and User Group meetings.
