HL also have extensive field experience through numerous long-term data collection contracts ranging from low-flow current-meter gauging programmes, to the operation and maintenance of telemetered networks.
The depth of our experience is such several of our Directors and senior staff sit on Hydrometric and Flow Measurement Standards committees which set guidelines and standards for equipment, infrastructure and field practices in the UK through British Standards, in Europe through CEN and internationally through ISO Standards. We also employ Certified Inspectors under the EA’s MCERTS scheme.
