Making time-series data management work for you

Bristol Water approached us for a solution to improve the quality and availability of water resource and supply management information for operational purposes and abstraction compliance reporting.

An obsolete bespoke database had to be updated to improve flexibility of graphical and printed reports, and integrate their SCADA telemetry system.

Key for Bristol Water's Resource Planning Manager, Martin Berry, was to reduce staff resources in manual data entry and processing of meter readings, source outputs, compensation water discharges and reservoir storage volumes as well as being based upon a system that was scalable and capable of being expanded to meet new business requirements.

Simple Early Warning Plan for Flooding

Grille Monitoring in the Scottish Borders
Isodaq Hawk data logger fits most standard instrument enclosures including roadside bollardsIn March 2005 Hydro-Logic installed three GSM Hawk logger in grille (trash screen) monitoring applications in Jedburgh and Galashiels. 
 
The grilles were trouble spots for local flooding - they often became blocked with leaves and other debris and during periods of heavy rain would cause local flooding as the burns which flowed through them backed up behind the blocked grille.

SEPA choose Hydro-Logic's low-cost telemetry solutions

Providing SEPA with low cost telemetryThe Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) has recently taken delivery of two low-cost telemetry solutions developed by Hydro-Logic. As part of two flood warning telemetry contracts, a range of field-instrumentation, data acquisition and flood warning systems were supplied to the western area office based at East Kilbride.
