Activation of cameras and signage
The Isodaq Hawk range of outstations incorporate control output switches on each channel that can be activated by alarm threshold exceedance.
Hydro-Logic design a complete system to activate either warning signs e.g. 'Road closed due to flooding' signs, or a remote surveillance camera to record an important event e.g. a blocked culvert grille.
Automatic flood warning signs
Low cost and easy to maintain, the sensor-activated road sign fits to existing signage and warns motorists of flood conditions with an electronic message.
Maintenance teams can be alerted to flood conditions remotely by mobile phone, landline or email until the water subsides and the sign automatically deactivates.

Eliminate callouts to erect and remove flood signs.
When monitoring the condition of assets to determine whether maintenance is required it is often useful to obtain a visual inspection of the site before making a decision. Calling-out standby staff for emergency maintenance needs to be well-targeted particularly during flooding events, so that visits to a network of sites are prioritised to match the current status.
This is where the CamSys Observation Camera can be used in conjunction with an Isodaq telemetry system. Our Isodaq Hawk range of outstations can be linked to a CamSys unit to trigger a photograph to be taken and sent by email via in-built GSM comms. This helps decision-making during emergency events, because the status of the site or the assets can be assessed visually without staff visiting the site.
