Tipping-Bucket Flow Gauge
The Tipping Bucket Flow Gauge is an economical solution for monitoring small volumetric flows that exceed the capacity of common rainfall gauges. Typical applications include: small streams, monitoring rainfall under a tree canopy, leakage in water storage dams, seepage and runoff.
The system is housed in an aluminium enclosure and features a built-in bubble for levelling the gauge. The Tipping Bucket Flow Gauge can be connected to either VF or Hawk series dataloggers, with the option of telemetry, for recording and reporting of flow.
The gauge can be set on the ground (see photo) or mounted above ground on bricks or concrete blocks.
