Hydro-Logic is undertaking a detailed FRA for a proposed development site adjacent to the River Blackwater in Hampshire.  The development comprises a series of office units adjacent to a leisure facility.  The FRA has required evaluation of the Environment Agency flood zones, stormwater design along with addressing issues of localised flooding from small water courses.

Hydro-Logic, in conjunction with Engineers Incorporated, undertook a Flood Consequence Assessment (FCA) for a major development in Swansea Enterprise Park.  The study involved simplified modelling of the River Tawe to identify the flood extent in the event of overtopping of the embankment.  Plans were developed for safe evacuation of the buildings in the event of flooding.

Hydro-Logic has provided expert services for a planning application for a major development of lakeside homes in the Cotswold near Lechlade.  The services included expert review of modelling work undertaken by Framework Consultants and an evaluation of the proposed development for planning authorities


Hydro-Logic undertook an FRA for the extension of a supermarket distribution centre in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire.  This involved a review of the existing site drainage facilities and recommendations on stormwater drainage provision.

Hydro-Logic has recently completed a desktop FRA  for the extension of a waste recycling facility near Oxford. The site is partially at risk from fluvial flooding and recommendations were made for the siting of walls and bunds. Surface water issues were assessed and mitigation suggested to reduce runoff from the site.
