Get sub-metre accuracy with GridLoc and the NEW SXBlue II GPS receiver

In response to needs for better GPS mapping functionality on the Archer Field PDA,  Hydro-Logic are pleased to offer the NEW SXBlue II Egnos-based mapping receiver.  The SXBlue II links wirelessly via Bluetooth with the Archer running Hydro-Logic's own GridLoc and/or Pocket Gauger packages.

GridLoc enables the current NGR map reference to be captured instantly with a touch of the pen.  GridLoc linked with the SXBlue II offers DGPS equivalent performance to sub-metre accuracy ( +/-60 cm 2dRMS 95% confidence) at an affordable price. Standard DGPS performance offering similar accuracy can only be obtained by post processing using a second receiver at a known location. This compares to standard satellite navigation GPS receivers which are only accurate to +/-10 metres at best. 

The SXBlue II receiver provides users with real-time sub-metre accuracy and eliminates the need for post-processing as satellite corrections are made using EGNOS (Europe), WAAS (North America), MSAS (Japan) or GAGAN (India) correction systems.

So whether you want to find the accurate grid reference of a borehole, a river sampling point or a current-meter gauging site, GridLoc and SXBlue II are the ideal combination.

TomTom^TM users can also benefit from the improved positioning accuracy of the SXBlue II receiver, as can users of general asset-mapping applications such as the popular ArcPad^TM mapping system.
