Location: Mortimer, near Reading Salary: £14,000 - £18,000 (dependant on qualifications and experience)
Hydro-Logic is one of the UK’s foremost providers of hydrological and hydrometric services and water monitoring technologies.
An increasing workload and recent expansion of our hydrological capabilities has created an exciting opportunity for a full time hydrometrist / hydrologist within the consultancy services division based in Mortimer.
The successful candidate will undertake a range of field and desk based activities including:
Field data collection, including water level, flow and rainfall Data processing and reporting Operation and maintenance of hydrometric instrumentation Feasibility, design and installation of hydrometric sites.
Minimum requirements include:
A degree in an Earth Science, Civil Engineering or similar Minimum one year relevant experience A good understanding of mathematics and computer literacy Full UK driving licence is essential Practical skills and enjoy working outdoors.
