Hydro-Logic has been appointed in a consortium with ESI to undertake investigations around major water supply sources operated by Severn Trent Water.

There are nine study areas, each of which features a series of key monitoring sites for river flow and lake and groundwater levels.

Following initial site investigations that were undertaken with assistance from the Environment Agency, a programme of monthly gaugings has been initiated.

Boreholes are also to be drilled and added to the monitoring network in the coming months.
