Experience
Rod is an engineering hydrologist with over 30 years experience of working in both public service and consultancy. After 10 years with Thames Water Authority, he started his own business acting as a Consultant Hydrologist before founding Hydro-Logic Ltd, the Company of which he is Chairman and Managing Director. He has broad experience of numerous projects involving water resources investigations, groundwater development, flood hydrology, flood warning and forecasting, hydrometric design, instrumentation and hydrological data management.

Rod’s main interests are in the development and application of information and electronic technology for monitoring water resources,  including innovating in open-channel flow measurement techniques.  He has also been responsible for conceiving, specifying and promoting many of the products currently produced by Hydro-Logic.
