Experience
Paul has built up a wide technical and managerial experience of hydrology and water resource projects during a 25 year career, of which 8 years have been spent overseas. Many of these projects have been centred on catchment planning studies for water resource, flood defence or pollution control measures and are themselves dependent upon a wide range of catchment models. His expertise in flood analysis is widely recognised and he is currently Project Manager for the Environment Agency's R&D projects and helps to manage the floods research programme. Paul is well known to UK hydrologists having lectured to many of them on the MSc programme at the University of Birmingham and served on the BHS National Committee for eight years.
