Appointed to strengthen the firm’s consultancy capability in the fields of hydrology, hydraulic modelling, urban pollution studies and water resource analysis. Manages the hydrology, modelling and hydrometric work undertaken by the Bromyard office of Hydro-Logic. In addition, provides specialist hydrological inputs for major flood modelling assignments, Flood Risk Assessments, Planning enquiries etc. Has a key involvement in flood studies through managing research contracts, modelling studies and major projects for the insurance industry.

Appointed with responsibility for both teaching and research. Helped to manage the MSc (Water Resources Technology and Management), being responsible for all external project work, and for 3 lecture modules. Research projects undertaken in applied hydrology and water resource management, including the application of hydrological, hydraulic and water quality models in support of integrated catchment management. Other research projects include the refinement of tools for flood estimation, for both design and operational application, and the rehabilitation of urbanised catchments.
