Hydro-Logic Services Staff Deliver Presentations at Hydrological Conferences

Several Hydro-Logic Services staff have given presentations at hydrological meetings/ conferences since the new year.

In January, Stewart Child presented on the specialist advice that HLS have been providing at a British Hydrological Society (BHS) meeting on Fish Passage at Gauging Stations. In March, Rob Burton presented at a BHS meeting on the way in which local authorities throughout the UK are making use of telemetered Flood Warning systems to manage flood risk at a local / community level. Finally, Martin Dibley presented at the Association of Drainage Authorities local authority seminar on how Somerset Drainage Board are using telemetered water level monitoring systems to manage water across the Somerset levels.
